UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEM (DRONE)

This is an insurance product unique for Bulgaria and designed for drones operated for business purposes. It covers the aircraft and any equipment thereto, including the ground one (cameras, remote controls, monitors, etc.)

The policy provides coverage under Casco and Third party liability. It is concluded based on a filled out questionnaire. Insurer: 100% Lloyds, London

Coverage under CASCO section

It pays for replacement or repair, sudden loss or damage of the drone, incl. vanishing. The compensation is up to the amount of the insurance sum.

Coverage under Third party liability section

It covers any sums the Insured person is legally liable to pay as compensation, incl. court expenses, for sudden body injury or material damage caused by the drone or an object fallen therefrom. The compensation is up to the amount of the insurance sum.

• Basic exclusions

Use for illegal business and purposes; outside the specified geographical limits; navigation by a person not included in the specified ones; landing at or taking off from a place not recommended by the manufacturer, except for force majeure;
